 WELCOME to Suzu Vizslas. I believe that diversity is a key to the long term health of the breed and look for stud dogs that would strengthen what Hazel and Sisi have to offer as well as add diversity to the puppy's pedigrees. At Suzu I strives to breed for standards in conformation,and excellence in hunting, health and temperament. I am a member of the Vizsla Club of America (VCA), The Vizsla Club of Greater New York (VCGNY) and the CT valley Vizsla Club(CVVC) where I am the head of the health issues committee. The Vizsla is great as a member of your family, sleeping under your covers, yet is active hunting through the woods as your personal gun dog. Due to their sweet nature and moderate stature, a Vizsla is the perfect dog for a city like NYC where they can run off leash (before 9 am) in Central Park, Fort Greene Park or one of the many other local parks. Grandma "Hazel" stands just about 21" and is my sweetheart and my foundation bitch. She is docile, yet eager to run around Central Park's Great Lawn or the fields of North Salem, near my home. In Goldens Bridge, NY she avidly hunts the squirrels that foolishly wander into the yard, but her latest obsessions are the snake and chipmunks that live in the stone wall. Butterflies don't stand a chance either. At home she loves to cuddle on the couch or sleep in my bed. Her head rarely pops out from under the covers much before 10am. Hazel won her show Championship on August 1,2004, her Junior Hunter in that December,and was awarded her Canine Good Citizenship the previous year. More recently, Hazel has earned her Therapy and Service Dog Certifications. She really enjoys her weekly visits to near-by rehab centers and in the future we look forward to going into local schools to help children who are learning English as a second language. During her brief show career, she took multiple Best of Breeds, still loving to show off in ring when she has the chance. Hazel has taken well to her role of being a mom. At present she has 6 children who are finished Show Champions, 3 who have their Junior Hunter titles and 3 more working towards their CH titles as well. You can find more about her current and future stars on in this site. Hazel now almost 10 is retired from the ring and from breeding. She is the true couch potato and warms my bed every night. Kisses is my up and coming star. Currently she needs only 3 points (one major) to complete her CH. Kisses is a strong boned girl with moderate angles and this look at me attitude. She definitely thinks she is the ruler of the house! Kisses will be 2 in mid June when we will have all her health clearances done. I plan to breed her the first heat after her second birthday. Aka Sisi is my first generation. She is now expecting her next litter to be welcomed into my home around June 14, 2012. The ultra sound confirmed 5 puppies. Sisi has been bred to CH Lyon Strikes Gold CDX, JH ROM. We are looking forward to a "Striking" litter. In February, 2008 Sisi competed in the prestigious Westminster KC Dog

aka Jolli is indeed a versatile vizsla. His jumping and leaping is ledgandary. He is somehow able to twist in 3 different directions when in the air before touching ground. After a successful year in the ring, Jolli is once again at home and getting ready to go out for hunt training. He is sure to get his Senior hunter if only he wouldn't bust in and get that bird and shake it. How can you get mad at a dog with such a huge heart and drive? Training. That's the answer. he will always keep my bed warm and be the best cuddler ever. Is there a title for that?
Well Jolli, the cuddler, is now the proud father of a few litters. His daughter, KC is sure to take the show ring by storm and then head out to go hunting. What a birdy girl. News Flash: earning his title of Couch Potato for the past 3 years Jolli received an Award of Merit at the Keystone Club Specialty in Ohio and then made it to the final cut at Nationals. aka Hardy is my youngest male and the pick from Hazel's last litter with Cooper.(AM/CAN CH Rheingold Loge Hamilton) Hardy is a dual country champion and is now in the specials ring with Patty Crowley. Hardy has a good nose for hunting and will soon have a Hunting title to add to the end of his name. Hardy is loving, even tempered and very good looking dog. He combines the good qualities of his mother, Hazel, and his father, Cooper. After his show career, he is sure to excel in hunting. As of December 2011, Hardy was ranked #8 Vizsla and with several Group wins and placements he is ranked in the top 10 in All Breed Standing. Good going Hardy and Patty!
